Sites

A site in medialoopster is an entity with a URL registered into the DNS. The medialoopster system can have local installations in multiple premises, and multiple productions per such installation. An installation is considered on one geographical location with a LAN for which the site is recommended to be unique, thus multiple productions within the same installation are recommended to share the same site. 

You must add at least a site via the administration interface and give it the following fields:

• a domain name (URL): for example http://ml-mycompany.local/
• a display name for the browser user interface: for example medialoopster my company

Assign then the site to the production's "direct attached site" field.
